"Margin Of Error" (marginoferror)

Bill Blass and Lincoln are two brand that go together well, it has been proven many time in the past, but even now, 25 years after their divorce, both have very similar corporate logos. Coincidence ? Bill Blass is synonym with style, luxury, chromed ashtrays and burgundy velvet, and this is exaclty what Lincoln’s core clientele is looking for.
Bill Blass was customizing cars like Rolls Royce is doing now but way before it was a thing. Just look the car above, with its custom paint, and now look at this car below, same concept.
Lincoln must stop trying to be another BMW and go back to its roots. Lincoln is all about style, just like Rolls-Royce, but cheaper. Custom paint, bespoke upholstery , crazy wheels, suicide door and retractable hood ornaments, this what a Lincoln is and how the Bill Blass Experience can save Lincoln.
The Bill Blass Experience would be Lincoln’s equivalent of the BMW Individual program. It would let customers go wild and apply Bill Blass’ philosophy on their car, and this is what Lincoln needs to be relevant again. It needs to be that crazy stylish company that stands out, not an American Audi. Lincoln must be outstanding, shocking and even gaudy to some extent, and if there’s a man that can lead Lincoln through this transformation, it’s Bill Blass.

As a huge fan of the ridiculously large mid mark-series Lincolns, this rubs my jimmies in all the right ways.

The Nautica edition was shit, but Eddie Bauer was great on Aerostars.

That sounds terrible. I think what they did with that black label shit is good enough.
Don’t fix what isn’t broke.
